Coinbase announced on September 28 that Citi’s Virtual Account Wallet will power Coinbase Virtual Accounts, allowing incoming fiat payments to be converted automatically into stablecoins. Coinbase’s payments infrastructure is also now available through Spring by Citi so institutional clients can accept stablecoin payments while receiving fiat settlement from Citi as bank of record.
