My background
I work in bank credit strategy and governance, with a focus on consumer lending, merchant finance, portfolio performance and fraud risk. I’m interested in how underwriting decisions, business partnerships and operating controls translate into credit outcomes.
That perspective shapes the questions behind this site: What changed? How does it work? What does the evidence support? And what should a reader pay attention to next?
Why I built The Credit Current
The Credit Current started while I was experimenting with AI features and decided to turn that curiosity into a website. It grew into a place to follow financial developments, examine the underlying sources and return to deeper explanations over time.
The site brings together news, a research library, official policy references and an economic calendar. My goal is to make useful context easier to find and connect across topics.
